Our mission is to give private capital investors an AI-first competitive edge.

We bring AI into core finance processes without compromising quality, compliance, or accountability. Teams move faster without losing control of their decisions.

Our thesis

Agentic AI is a natural fit for investment work. It can analyze faster, monitor continuously, and execute workflows at scale.

But investing is not just speed or automation. It demands accountability: every decision must be explainable, every output verifiable, and every process aligned with strict standards for compliance, reporting, and investor trust.

Black box systems, untraceable outputs, and uncontrolled automation do not belong in high-stakes investment decision-making.

We believe AI should strengthen judgment, not bypass it. The future is not autonomous systems operating unchecked, but accountable systems working alongside investment professionals.

Xlagent brings agentic AI into core investment processes with full transparency, control, and compliance. As investment firms go agentic, Xlagent is the trusted infrastructure behind them.

Diederik Van Damme

CEO & Co-Founder

Diederik started in transaction advisory at EY, then joined the investment team of a private equity real estate firm, where he saw ambitious firms constantly bottlenecked by document-driven processes.

He started Xlagent on a simple conviction: the next generation of investment firms will work alongside AI agents, and the gap between early movers and the rest will be significant. He now builds the tools.
